Investment in precision – a project co-financed by European Funds

Prasmet 2 Sp. z o.o. has completed a project co-financed by European Funds,
aimed at increasing competitiveness through the purchase of a modern
4/5-axis CNC Brother R650Xd1 machining center.
The investment was carried out as part of the European Funds for Lower
Silesia 2021–2027, Measure 9.4 “Economic transformation.”

Total project cost: PLN 832,133.83

Amount of co-financing from European Funds: PLN 473,572.10

The project “Strengthening the competitiveness of PRASMET 2 through the purchase of a modern
machining center” enables the company to introduce innovative and environmentally friendly
technological solutions, increase production efficiency and precision, and
reduce energy consumption and pollutant emissions.

Brother Speedio R650Xd1 – a new generation machining center

The Brother Speedio R650Xd1 is a vertical CNC milling and threading center that
stands out for:
● high speed and machining accuracy,
● thermal stability and vibration damping thanks to its Meehanite cast construction,
● the ability to work in 4 or 5 axes,
● a tool magazine for up to 28 positions,
● a table with a Quick Table (QT) pallet changer, which allows for
non-stop machining.

This makes the machine ideal for the production of parts for the following industries:
● automotive,

● electrical engineering,

● industrial automation.
